模様：日本・青海波。海の波を表します。 ササン朝ペルシャで生まれ、日本には飛鳥時代に伝来したそうです。 平安時代に雅楽の「青海波」の装束として用いられてから、現在の名称となりました。 鎌倉時代に水を表す文様として使われるようになったそうです。 pattern：Seigaiha, Japan, resembling the waves of the ocean. It was born in Sasanian Persia and introduced to Japan in the Asuka period. In the Heian period, it was used as a costume for the Gagaku "Seigaiha", which gave it its current name.
